USACE | Design / Build 502nd Air Wing Base Headquarters | Fort Sam, Texas

Leetex was selected as Prime Contractor by the U.S. Corps of Engineers – for Design/Build project consisting of a 25,733 square foot administration building which includes a command / executive suite. Executive Division, Secure Conference Room, Customer Service and C2Center. The facility is designed to integrate with Fort Sam Houston’s National Landmark District Visual Zone 1 Architectural theme. The project is located adjacent a main installation roadway with high visibility. In addition to exterior design and finishes to complement the historic area, a complete Comprehensive Interior Design package was required to provide furnishing (including modular wall systems) in support of the users. The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification from the USGBC.

USACE - Design/Build Armed Forces Reserve Center | Lewisville, TX

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers selected Leetex as Prime Contractor, in a nationwide competition to design and construct the new Armed Forces Reserve Center in Lewisville. Texas. The project consists of Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC) 50,237 square feet, Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS) 12,279 square feet and an Unheated Storage Facility (UHS) 4,990 square feet. Programmatic elements include office areas, training areas, kitchen, locker rooms, weapons vaults and equipment storage and vehicle maintenance areas. The project was awarded LEED® Gold Certification from the USGBC.

MICC | Network Enterprise Center Headquarters Building 422 | Fort Hood, Texas

Mission and Installation Contracting selected Leetex as Prime Contractor to repurpose from an elementary school to an operational center. The requirements included asbestos and lead abatement and mold remediation. Windows and facade were updated to include force protection (blast proof) and new metal panel system. The floor plan was reconfigured to accommodate the mission and staffing requirements of the NEC. A modern, energy efficient mechanical system was installed to improve energy consumption and new power. Modern communications were added to support servers, systems and functional workstation operations. New fire protection system was installed that included fire alarm, mass notification and wet pipe sprinkler.

National Parks Service | Pipe Springs Curatorial Building | Pipe Springs, NM

The National Park Service selected Leetex as Prime Contractor to complete a Design / Build project of the Pipe Springs National Monument / Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians Museum Collections Facility. Project was developed to USGBC LEED® Silver standards. This building was a new pre-engineered metal building, masonry and plaster exterior. Interior finishes included a rolling racking system.

MICC | Motor Pool Renovations 17001 | Fort Hood, Texas

Leetex was selected to renovated Motor Pool Facility; selective demolition, restoration of administrative, supply, latrine areas, new personnel doors/hardware, windows, upgrade electrical power and lighting, mechanical upgrades including HVAC, paint interior/exterior finishes, provide force protection, compliance with fire/life safety and all other miscellaneous work required.

MICC | Warrior Transition Unit, Buildings 36036, 36037, 36038, 36039, 36040, 36041 | Fort Hood, Texas

This project included 6 pre-engineered metal buildings, with standing seam metal roofs, and reinforced concrete foundations. This 30,000 SF project provides permanent general purpose administrative facilities for Warriors in Transition (WIT). The WIT program provides a continuum of integrated care, counseling and support services from point of injury to return to duty or transition to citizenship. These facilities are pre-engineered metal buildings with a brick veneer and include fire protection systems. Site and utility challenges that were met successfully for the project. ATFP, site security and access criteria were also important for this project and effectively addressed.

Building addition for C-130 aircraft maintenance shop. Building includes a structural steel structure, polished concrete slab, motorized damper system.

National Parks Service | Big Thicket | Woodville, Texas

Complete design development and construction of 4,000 SF Fire Management Facility in Woodville, Texas. Consists of an apparatus room with two bays for vehicle storage and repair, fire cache, tools and parts storage, fenced in tool storage and a open mezzanine for additional storage, HVAC and electrical rooms and server/phone room. Interior finishes. Base structure was a pre-engineered primary tructure/building system. Site work consisted of installing an aeration septic system, domestic water supply, power and phone data service, constructed a fenced gravel service area, two vehicle covered storage structures with slab, entry and exit roads and visitor/staff parking.

MICC | Restoration of Battalion Headquarters Bldg. 31010 | Fort Hood, Texas

Complete renovation of Battalion Headquarters of Building 31010 at Fort Hood, Texas. Abatement of asbestos and complete environmental assessment was performed prior to demolition. New walls and ceilings were provided as well as new finishes. New HVAC, plumbing, fire sprinkler, electrical and fire alarm systems were installed. The Directorate of Information Management and extensive requirements for new NIPRNE and SIPRNET communication systems.

National Parks Service | Chaco Visitors Center | Chaco National Historical Park, NM

The National Park Service selected Leetex as Prime Contractor to complete their 9,200 square foot Design / Build project of the Chaco Visitor Center within their Chaco National Historical Park in New Mexico.
